The shortest privacy policy in the category: your images are processed on your device and never uploaded anywhere.
Your images never leave your device
AI bg remove processes everything in your browser. The background remover and the object remover both run locally via WebAssembly and your device GPU. There is no upload step, no server processing and no image storage.
What we collect
We do not collect or store your images. We do not require an account. Basic, privacy-friendly web analytics (if enabled) may collect non-identifying usage data such as page views and approximate device type — never the content of the images you edit.
AI models
The models used are open source. Background removal uses the ISNet model; object and watermark removal uses the MI-GAN inpainting model (MIT licensed). Models are downloaded once to your browser cache for speed, then reused without re-uploading anything.
Cookies
We use only what is necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell your data.
Data retention
Because images are processed on-device, nothing persists on our servers. Clearing your browser cache removes the locally cached AI models. There is nothing else to delete.
Third parties
The AI model files may be fetched from our own hosting. We do not share image data with any third party.
