About us
Background removal, done right
AI bg remove exists because removing a background should be free, fast and private. Traditional tools upload your photos to a server, charge credits, and leave a watermark.

Private by default
Every image is processed on your device. There is no upload, no server, no account — your photos never leave your hands.
Free forever
No credits, no subscriptions, no watermarks, no signup walls. Background removal stays free and unlimited.
Open technology
We build on open source models like ISNet and MI-GAN, and run them in your browser with WebAssembly and WebGPU.
User-first
Every feature is made to be fast, simple and honest. If a tool can be simpler, we simplify it.
